    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Develop business plans that are compatible with Mark III Constructions current forecast needs
    • Recruits, interviews and hires HVAC service technicians
    • Directs the HVAC technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Generates sales leads and promotes and develops maintenance/service agreements for contract projects
    • Develops and monitors budgets, goals and objectives for the service division
    • Pursue business development opportunities with new and existing customers
    • Monitors service vehicles and tools to ensure they are in acceptable condition
    • Oversee the hiring and growth of the Fresno Service Division
    • Conducts performance appraisals with service team to recommend increase, promotions, training and disciplinary actions.
    • Work with the training manager to establish skills assessment of the service team and identify training needed
    • Manages performance by monitoring service team’s effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and operating plan goals
    • Provide oversight and technical direction to staff on all phases of service
    • Drive innovation, quality and continuous improvement through action planning, compliance and execution
    • Build an effective and talented team through engagement, coaching, developing and upward mobility
    • Oversight of scheduling of manpower and coordination among projects and service calls
    • Prepare reports and review proposals
    • Pricing and Estimating cost of proposals
    • Provide problem solving and cost effective solutions for clients and potential clients
    • Gross Profit redemption-achieve planned gross profit through leadership and management of service staff.
    • Account Expansion and Sales. Understand the customer and their facilities that enhance the customer’s requirements. Promote and cross sell to promote new business and upgrading of existing agreements by instructing and directing staff to generate and report leads and sales.
    • Works as liaison between construction business unit and service teams to resolve issues
    • Interacts with sales to ensure smooth hand off on projects from the sales process
    • Maintains quality standards by ensuring effective supervision and inspecting job sites
    • Administers safety and environmental program in the service area

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in operations in mechanical service  
    • BA Degree or Combination of education and experience, in lieu of either experience or education
    • HVAC Field Knowledge preferred
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Detail oriented with sales skills
    • Computer skills: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
