    Mark III Construction is currently seeking a Vice President of Field Operations for their Sacramento office to oversee all superintendents and field team for all trades within the company.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Interviewing involvement for all foreman field hires
    • Grow training program for field team. Work with Training Manager to develop structured training programs for all trades
    • Career path mapping and development for field team
    • Create master field schedule report with skills assessment for field team
    • Audit to make sure construction projects are being introduced to service for preventative maintenance contracts
    • Create and maintain six-month manpower projections
    • Manage the issues log database
    • Implement labor tracking metrics and dashboard
    • Buy into budget projections and calculate man power needs
    • Schedule preplanning meetings
    • Oversee Foreman Hour Reports
    • Oversight of JHA/Safety
    • Develop key customer scorecards
    • Meet with estimating teams monthly to see mix rate vs bid rates
    • Assist with Work Breakdown Structure Process
    • Project site visits
    • Attend start up meetings as needed
    • Building excellence. Build consistent and predictable excellence into all projects and all trades

    Qualifications

    • Must have 3+ years in field operations position or 8+ year working in the construction industry as a Superintendent for either a general contractor or an MEP contractor.
    • Experience in commercial and industrial projects
    • Strong Leadership skills, organizational development, personnel management, and strategic planning.
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • General knowledge of MEP trades
    • Must have excellent people management skills and be able to work with different levels of employees and management
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Skills in coaching, training and individual development for career planning
    • Strong technical knowledge of OSHA regulations as related to construction
