Responsibilities

Mark III Construction is seeking an experienced Underground Foreman for work on commercial/industrial projects in the Sacramento area. Foreman will supervise and work with a crew of all personnel engaged in underground related tasks. Applicants must be client focused and able to deliver positive results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Over 3 years of experience operating and overseeing backhoes, excavators, and wheel loaders
  • Extensive knowledge with sewer, storm & water distribution systemss
  • Dry utility knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working in a commercial setting
  • Must be able to successfully run crews up to 6 employees
  • Able to create, read and follow a construction schedule
  • Willingness and ability to build strong relationships with Superintendents and PMs
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications
  • Willing to perform the tasks of a Laborer, Pipe Layer, and HEO when needed
  • Ability to set grade from provided surveying
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Possess knowledge of project scopes and ability to recognize changes in scopes of work
  • Dependable with reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
  • Able to collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset
